The documentary video “Assyriology”
is the culmination of the author’s broad cultural and intellectual experience
as a historian. It transparently discusses the academic meaning and the history
of the term (Assyriology). The documentary video also presents the historical
facts, which shed light on the 20th-century made-up identity of the
modern Assyrians.
This presentation is based on Dr. Amer Hanna Fatuhi’s history books listed in the References Section of the video. The English version was revised and edited by Prof. Roy Gessford.
